Housing is the foundation upon which all of us thrive. A home is more than four walls, it is a refuge and a retreat. It’s where we live. Housing, regardless of type, can enhance the quality of life for everyone and create a brighter future for all.
By investing in new housing opportunities we can strengthen our region’s economic vitality, reaffirm a commitment to equity, and enhance our competitiveness.
With the commitment of needed resources and the adoption of new policies by local leaders, everyone in the Richmond region can live in vibrant and sustainable communities, characterized by a breadth of diversity among the residents, a variety of affordable housing choices, the integration of services, efficient use of the public infrastructure, and strategic preservation of natural resources.
